Sponsors and speakers

Feature your sponsors and speakers on your event site

Pick the option that fits each sponsor and speaker, send us the files, and we build it with you. This guide shows six ways to feature sponsors, three ways to present speakers, and what we need from you for each. To see the pages in action, open demo.jumbo.live.

Six ways to show a sponsor

Start with the simplest option and add more for your biggest sponsors. You can mix them on one event site, for example a logo row for everyone and a branded page for your top tier. Each tile is a small sketch of how the option looks.

Sponsor logo block

A row of logos

A neat row of sponsor logos, each linking to that sponsor's website. Tell us the order you want, and any change later.

Best for
Many sponsors at equal weight

Large sponsor buttons

Image and label

A big, clickable image for each sponsor. It can open the sponsor's website, a sponsor page or a pop-up with more about them.

Best for
A few sponsors you want to stand out

Single banner image

One designed image

One image, designed by you or the sponsor, that spans the width of the page. It gives you full control over how it looks.

Best for
One sponsor with a campaign message

Rotating banner slider

Banners take turns

Each sponsor supplies a banner and the banners rotate in one spot. Every banner can link to the sponsor's website.

Best for
Many sponsors in one prime spot

Sponsor-branded channel

Their colors and logo

One page of your event wears the sponsor's colors and logo. Attendees see a different look as they move through the site.

Best for
Your biggest sponsors

Sponsor booth page

Video, text and links

A page that belongs to the sponsor. It can match their branding. Ask us what we can track for each booth.

Best for
Sponsors with video, text and links to share

More than a link. A large button or a logo can open a pop-up with more about the sponsor, or take attendees to the sponsor's booth page. We set that up with you.

Three ways to present speakers

Use spotlight cards to feature speakers, hosts, staff or other people. A card can open a pop-up bio or a profile in the people directory.

Spotlight cards

Photo, name, details

A row of cards, one per person, with a photo, a name and a line or two about them. Clicking a card opens their bio.

Appears on
Any page, and inside schedule items

Pop-up bio page

A page that opens on top

A card opens a pop-up with a larger photo, a full bio and links such as a website or LinkedIn. Attendees stay on the page they were on.

Best for
Full bios you control

Profile in the people directory

Opens in the side panel

A card opens that person's profile in your people directory, next to the page. It reuses the details already on their profile.

Needs
A people directory on the page

Prefer an outside link? A card can also open any web address, such as a speaker's website or LinkedIn page.

How a spotlight works

This diagram shows a row of spotlight cards with one pop-up bio open. Hover over a number to see what it marks.

Speakers
A speakers page with one pop-up bio open, drawn as a diagram
  1. Spotlight cardsOne card per person, in a row that wraps on smaller screens
  2. PhotoA square headshot, shown cropped to a circle
  3. Name and detailsA name, plus a line for role and organization
  4. Pop-up bioA larger photo, the full bio and any links, opened by clicking a card
  5. CloseAttendees close the pop-up and are back where they were

What to send for speakers

Put each speaker's headshot and bio in one folder. Name the files after the speaker, like dana-reyes.jpg, so nothing gets mixed up.

For every speaker, send

A square headshot of at least 600 × 600 px as a JPG, with the face centered. Add their name, role and organization, exactly as you want them printed.

Spotlight cards

  • Headshot, name and roleAs above
  • One short lineFor example a session title or a topic. Keep it to about 10 words
  • The order you wantKeynotes first, or alphabetical

Pop-up bio page

  • A bio of about 100 to 150 wordsWritten in the third person, in plain text
  • Links to includeWebsite, LinkedIn or anywhere else attendees can follow them
  • A larger photo, if you have oneThe same square headshot works

Profile in the people directory

  • The list of people to featureWe link each card to that person's profile
  • Their profile detailsSend them, or if registration is open, speakers can fill in their own
  • Any extra fields you want shownTell us and we will set them up

Send the originals. We crop and resize photos for each place they appear, so a larger file gives us room to work.
